Microdosing is the act of taking a small non-hallucinogenic dose of psilocybin in order to achieve neurological benefits. 

This 200 mg psilocybin micro-dose capsule is our highest micro-dosage of psilocybin for those who want to feel some mild effects from their experience, while still enjoying the other medicinal, brain enhancing herbs.

This is not a macro-dose and won’t take you on a shamanic journey but colours might look a little brighter to you, and you might feel a slightly altered perception.

We recommend this one if you already have had experience with micro-dosing.

Please be aware that in some people, the use of higher doses of psylocybin can cause mildly nauseous feelings.

Psilocybe Cubensis

Psilocybe Cubensis is the most commonly known form of “magic mushroom” known through millennia for its psychedelic properties.

More recently psilocybin have come into the spotlight and been studied for the neurological, psychological and emotional benefits of regularly ingesting much lower, non-hallucogenic doses or “microdoses.”

By combining (also known as stacking) psilocybin with other non-hallucinogenic medicinal fungus such as Lion’s Mane and other plant compounds, a synergy known as a “mycological entourage effect” emerges.

(Much like the “entourage effect” exhibited by cannabanoids working together in cannabis)

Below, we describe the plants we have stacked our psilocybin with, and why we chose these compounds.

Lion’s Mane

Lion’s Mane is an edible medicinal mushroom (not psychedelic), long used in traditional Chinese medicine, as well as in cooking.  It contains many health promoting substances, including anti-oxidants, has been found to create more neural connections in your brain, and is known to promote mental clarity, focus and enhance memory.

Researchers have found that Lion’s Mane works synergistically with psilocybin and has the capacity to create new neurons and neural pathways, and also repair neurological damage.


Cacao has a long history of being used with psilocybin. Records show that Aztecs mixed it in ceremonial drinks. Cacao increases the effect of psilocybin. It contains MAO-inhibitors, best known as highly efficacious anti-depressants. It helps to modulate  neurotransmitters like serotonin. When adding Cacao to your psilocybin, your sweet spot dose might be a little lower than usual. It is also rich in antioxidants and full of minerals. Cacao is not a psychedelic, but it does have a psychoactive effect as a mood enhancer and connecting us to our heart-centre.


Ginger is a known remedy to help with nausea. Some nauseous feeling can be felt with use of psilocybin.

Microdosing Protocoles: 

Researches have shown that the benefits of micro-dosing are felt optimally when micro-dosing on a regular basis over a longer period of time. However, if it is your first time micro-dosing psilocybin, we propose the following:

Step 1: Micro-Dose for the first on a quiet day where you don’t have any important task to accomplish. If possible take time to journal, be in a quiet space and ideally on your own. Start with only one capsule.

Step 2: After trying a few times, you can start to micro-dose on a daily basis.

We recommend trying either 1 day on and 2 days off to start or 5 days on and 2 days off.

You do not need to take more than one capsule a day unless you feel like you would like a boost in the afternoon.

Both protocols will have similar results, it is a matter of preference.

It is important to take breaks between micro-doses, in order to keep your tolerance low to the 5HTP (serotonin receptors).You do not want to build a tolerance so you can keep enjoying the benefits of psilocybin. The good news is, there are no addictive effects from psilocybin. We recommend trying these protocols for at least a month in order to feel the lasting benefits.

Journalling your experience can be a useful tool to take note of the subtle effects this journey will take you on.
